Wordpress2About 2 weeks ago I upgraded to WordPress 2 and I’ve been loving it. The new AJAX-powered features admin interface and WYSIWYG editor are fantastic and definitely make the blogging experience more enjoyable.

I am actually surprised at how quickly the WordPress developers have come out with an AJAX implementation. Of all the PHP software I use including phpMyAdmin, Coppermine, etc. they are the about first to have implemented AJAX.

To celebrate the new backend features, I decided to try a new WordPress theme. I’m still not quite sure if I like it better than the old one though.

It allows you to copy your db from one WP install to another with a single-click in your dashboard. Especially handy for syncing a local development database with a live site. Learn more »

I’ve been using it for a little while. It’s pretty damn spiffy. Have you checked out sIFR? I looked into it for my site but it doesn’t support linked titles, so there’s no real point to it. But it looks cool. ;-)
