Your ear deserves some Arcade Fire

Of all the new music that I’ve discovered this summer (Alexis on fire, Audioslave, The Killers, etc), I am most excited about The Arcade Fire. This band out of Montreal is ripping it up since they released their album Funeral last September. The only unfortunate thing is that it took a whole year to reach me.

I really love the variety of instrumentals that they use and subtle incorporation of French in their song. If you haven’t already heard “Une année sans lumière” or “Rebellion (Lies)”, I suggest you get on that.
