If you are still using MapQuest or Yahoo! Maps for your mapping needs, you are living in the past. Google’s relatively new “Satelite” feature at maps.google.com is spectacular. I was looking at the area where I am going to be living in Surrey, BC but the road isn’t even shown on Google’s map. I clicked the “Satelite” button and wham! there’s the missing avenue. The satelite photo is so detailed that you can even see that the pavement on the road that is missing is newer than the pavement on the older adjacent roads.
