		<description>Interesting post. I&#039;m currently in the &quot;Work at Home&quot; phase myself as I just started the self-employment venture about a month ago.  I can certainly relate to missing things like, the bike rides to-and-from work and the socializing aspect of my job.  IM helps a bit, but isn&#039;t quite the same... especially when your comrades have &#039;real&#039; meetings with real people, and aren&#039;t always around to bounce ideas off of.  I always found it funny that you&#039;d end up IM&#039;ing the coworker sitting next to you more often than while working in two different &#039;offices&#039;.

Did you ever consider doing contract work on the side?
