It was the subject of the movie "The Player." I guess now that Robert Altman's dead, Entertainment weekly can rip off the premise. It's also no surprise that the industry fears the Internet. But fear is often a survival instinct, meaning anyone who doesn't adapt to the current world will be left behind. It’s certainly no shock that the movie industry doesn’t understand us.
