While the players and owners wait for each other to cave and agree to a settlement, us fans can still enjoy some live hockey in our own backyard courtesy of the OSHL.

The OSHL was formed as the NHL lockout was approaching by recruiting players from the NHL. Some big names like Dominik Hasek, Mike Comrie, and Roman Turek are topping the rosters. The best part is that the league is touring Canada from coast to coast.

This Thursday, October 14th the league is coming to the Aitken Center here in Fredericton, NB. Tickets are only $25. Anyone planning on attending a game?
