Well, it is! I can count the number of relatively entertaining New Years Eve parties I have attended in my lifetime on one hand, and even if I had several missing fingers! Last night I went to Dolan’s pub for the “festivities.” There were a few balloons, a couple of party hats, a live band, but nothing special. In fact, I think I had more fun at the pub on Alexander Keith’s birthday. Free T-shirts, free mugs, free round of drinks, it was great! I certainly had a far better time back home at “The Tavern” the day before Giftmas Eve. Then again I was far more intoxicated.
From now on, I will have no hopes for an entertaining New Years Eve and will treat it like any other day. Hopefully lower expectations will result in lesser disappointment. Fuck I’m bitter.

[...] New Years Eve in Vancouver I actually wrote this post on the plane back to Vancouver for New Years Eve but I’m only getting around to posting it now. I actually had a great time this New Years Eve, which was a nice surprise considering my low expectations. Myself, Erin, and some good friends of mine went out to Joey’s for dinner.
