For about three weeks I have been practicing with a newly formed coed ultimate club here in Vancouver, “Bad Spirit”. This past weekend we went to our first tournament in Kamloops, BC. My expectations on Saturday were far exceeded as we played very well, only lost 1 of 4 games and only by a single point. Unfortunately the wheels fell off Sunday morning as we lost our first game in single-elimination play.
On Saturday night we had a great time eating and drinking on the deck of Fogg N’ Suds pub. The weekend was a great time overall. I’m looking forward to practicing and playing with this team this fall.

I imagine that was probably a pretty competative tournament. Hey 4-1 is pretty good I think. That sucks about your second day. Our league ended last week. My team finished 9th out of like 15. Considering more than half of our roster just started playing this summer, we were pretty happy. Haha, nice team name btw, I just hope it’s not representative of your actual spirit.

Bojan,
Good to hear you’re doing well with Ultimate, 9/15 isn’t bad. You must have won a few to get there.
Yea, our team name doesn’t really reflect our spirit. We even do cheers sometimes…not that I encourage such behaviour.
