Photo by Ryan Remiorz of the Canadian Press.I am surprised by the overwhelming coverage of George W. Bush’s visit to Halifax by the American media. At this very moment, most major U.S. news network web sites are headlining the story including: CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX.

I haven’t read any of the U.S. media articles, but I am sure there are going to be some amusing inaccurate information regarding Canada. Be sure to post a comment if you find any of these errors.

This visit was highly regarded by Canadian media, both CBC and CTV dedicated the entire morning to broadcasting the arrival of the U.S. president.

I guess when a person as controversial as Mr. Bush visits a country that largely opposes his mandate, the hype is warranted.

did you see the protestor holding a sign that read “assassination as self defense?”?
