Today I finally finished booking flights for my big trip in August and September. I’m flying to Toronto to play in the Canadian Ultimate Championships with Blackfish, then to Fredericton for Pierre‘s wedding, then after visiting my family in Nova Scotia, I’m flying to Dublin, Ireland for my first travel experience outside North America. Should be a fuckin’ blast!
I actually booked a cheap direct flight from London to Vancouver today, so I may fly over to London a few days early to check it out. It would give me a chance to visit my friend Klaus, hear about his new life in London, and of course poke him for the latest juicy gossip at Yahoo!. We’ll see how long it takes me to get kicked out of Ireland.
I just noticed this week that Google Maps allows you to draw custom maps now, with markers, lines, and shapes. It’s pretty damn cool, so I decided to play with it by plotting my trip. So, check out my trip map, it turned out pretty good.
I also stumbled upon this Google Maps Flight Simm game. It’s pretty useless, but kind of neat.

Whew, that’s a nice trip plan!
Let me know when you come to London so we can check out a few pubs

Dude, it’s about time. I half thought you were going to turn into Sarah, she’s been talking about ‘travelling’ for the last 2 years. Hehe. Good on ya!
