Missile Defense System? Ridiculous!

I just finished watching the US Presidential Debate tonight and if I were voting, there’s one good reason (among many others) that I would not vote for George W. Bush: missile defence.

In a world where planes and cars or boats filled with explosives are being used as weapons, can anyone honestly believe that a missile defence system is going to help protect people. Furthermore, can you really vote for a man (George W. Bush) that honestly believes the way to protect people is by spending a ton of money on a large-scale missile defence system?

President Bush has accused those opposed to the missile defence system as “living in the past.” What kind of backward thinking is this? He is the one living in the past if he believes that missiles are the biggest threat to Americans. Hell, statiscally Americans are a bigger threat to Americans.

Anyways, John Kerry “won” the debate which means he may have gained some support. Goody!
