Vote for the Environment and David Suzuki’s Testicles
February 27th, 2007 at 12:08am | 1 CommentTonight I “voted for the environment.” I sent an email to the leaders of all the Canadian political parties from David Suzuki’s web site. I couldn’t agree more with his position on maintaining the thin client status of the browser. In the past, I’ve strongly argued from this position. I remember specifically arguing against returning XML from the server, parsing it, ... read more »

Web Directions North: Day 0
February 7th, 2007 at 11:33am | 2 CommentsYesterday, I attended the CSS + Javascript = Magic workshop and was impressed by some of the examples presented by Aaron Gustafson and Andy Clarke. I hadn’t really taken a look at CSS3 yet, so there was a lot in that area that was new and exciting to me. The DOM scripting concepts and suggestions ... read more »
